Pizza a la Portuguesa
We are passionate about creating gourmet pizza that brings together our expertise (honed in Italy & New York) with the flavors and ingredients of Portugal. Our dough is handmade daily using a traditional family method and our recipes crafted over months of testing in our kitchen.
We take our inspiration from all around us – from the Alentejo to the Azores. We give classic pizza a twist, to create bold new combinations that celebrate the very best local flavours.
We source ingredients mindfully prioritizing small-batch and local suppliers. Our organic vegetables come from farms in Sintra, our Bio oyster mushrooms from Nam Mushroom Farm in Lisbon and our organic ham from the Alentejo.
Who We Are
We love pizza and we love Portugal – its blue skies and sunshine, its long sandy beaches, its white village houses with their blue and yellow trim.
We care about every detail – from the team’s hand sewn aprons to our thoughtfully designed oblong boxes. These terrazzo boxes are a nod to one of the oldest forms of recycling and, thanks to the disposable inner tray, are designed to be recycled.
We believe in local. We want to create a truly Lisbon brand – a delicious new offering for the community that celebrates and benefits local producers and suppliers.
